Durite 12VDC 140A voltage-sensitive relay (VSR) for vehicle charge splitting. When installed between the start and secondary 12VDC batteries, the high load intelligent voltage sensitive unit is an efficient way of charging a secondary battery whilst not affecting the charging, depletion or performance of the primary start battery.
- Rated: 12 Volts DC, 140 Amps maximum load.
- With a Red LED indicator.
- Two M6 battery connection studs.
- The VSR makes (or cuts-in) at 13.3V and breaks (or cuts-out) at 12.8V.
- The M6 post next to the Black ground (-) cable is the Start Battery Positive (+) connection, and the opposite side M6 terminal is the Auxiliary Battery Positive (+) connection.
- CE approved.

About The VSR Unit
Our VSR is a safe, reliable, and CE-approved way to split charge your second battery bank without the risk of discharging the primary or start battery. It automatically shuts off if the voltage drops below 12.8V, with a 5-second delay, to prevent any nuisance cut-outs due to high intermittent loads on the battery. With its 140 Amps maximum load, two M6 studs, and a Red LED indicator, you can be assured of efficient and reliable intelligent switching delivery. Plus, with our easy-to-install self-tapping screws and ring crimp terminal for ground lead, setting up your VSR is a breeze.
The terminals (not supplied) for post connection must be for M6 studs, and the cable requires a large enough cross-section for the alternator's maximum output (charging source). Cable entry is facilitated by cutting suitably sized holes in the side(s) of the relay, and there are thinned-out sections in the casing to make this easier.
