0-533-16 Durite 12V-24V Illuminated Oil Pressure Gauge 52mm Diameter

 Durite 0-533-16, 52mm 12 or 24 Volts DC dashboard or panel oil pressure gauge.

• Voltage: 12-24VDC.
• 270° sweep dial.
• Supplied with ¹⁄₈″ NPTF female union and 12-foot copper capillary. 
• 53mm dashboard hole required.
• The unit has an illuminated display.
• Matt black bezel with white figures.
• Bridge type fitting.
• Supplied with a 24VDC and 12VDC bulb.

Fitting Instructions for Translation Purposes

1. Choose a suitable location for the gauge with adequate access to the rear of the gauge for connections and fixings.
2. Cut a 53 mm diameter hole at the chosen location for the gauge. Cut a hole in the bulkhead to allow the pipe to pass through into the engine compartment and fit a suitable-sized grommet to protect the pipe. Push the gauge into the 53mm hole and fit the “U” bracket over the mounting studs at the rear of the gauge. Fit washer(s) and nut to each stud. Align gauge and tighten nuts.
3. Fit the 1/8” NPT (female) adaptor and tighten it onto the stud on the rear of the gauge.
4. Carefully route pipe from gauge to engine, avoid hot exhaust surfaces and sharp edges and ensure the pipe is not kinked.
5. Fit the appropriate adaptor(s) to the engine and tighten in place.
6. Fit pipe into the adaptor, screw unions onto adaptors and tighten fully.
7. Fit appropriate voltage bulb. Connect the bulb wiring, red wire to the vehicle panel lamp supply (after the fuse) and black wire to earth.
8. Check all connections are correct and secure. Start the engine and check that the gauge registers. Switch on the panel lamps and check the gauge illuminates.

Do Not’s

• Kink the pipe or bend through sharp angles.
• Run pipe over hot surfaces.

Do’s

• Fit grommet to protect pipe through the bulkhead.
• Check for leaks at all joints.
