Albright International CC74L-1, 12 to 60 Volts DC Coil Economiser Module with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology.

Universal 12-60VDC.
PWM board fitted.
This universal type of module provides an output voltage of 40% of the supply voltage.
Initial output up to 550mS maximum at the contactor Nominal Voltage (Maximum 60VDC). Then PWM to 40% duty cycle.
The output is Chopped Supply Voltage, equivalent to 40% of the Supply Voltage.
For use solely with Albright International recommended solenoid contactors.
Pack Quantity: 1 Unit.

Important: Suitable for driving contactor coils only. Not suitable for use as a DC-DC converter. The output is not true DC but Squarewave chopped at 15 KHz.

About The Albright Coil Economiser Modules

Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology is a common technique for coil economising in modern contactor applications. After an initial closing pulse the module regulates the coil down to the specified power dissipation (around 20%). The units are used in conjunction with contactor as drivers, designed uniquely to reduce power/heat dissipation and therefore should never be used as DC-DC converters.
