 Albright International CC74H-2, 60 to 96 Volts DC Coil Economiser Module with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology.

  • Universal 60-96VDC.
  • PWM board fitted.
  • This universal type of module provides an output voltage of 40% of the supply voltage.
  • Initial output up to 550mS maximum at the contactor Nominal Voltage (Maximum 96VDC). Then PWM to 40% duty cycle.
  • The output is Chopped Supply Voltage, equivalent to 40% of the Supply Voltage.
  • For use solely with Albright International recommended solenoid contactors.
  • Pack Quantity: 1 Unit.

 Important: Suitable for driving contactor coils only. Not suitable for use as a DC-DC converter. The output is not true DC but Squarewave chopped at 15 KHz.

About The Albright Coil Economiser Modules

 Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology is a common technique for coil economising in modern contactor applications. After an initial closing pulse the module regulates the coil down to the specified power dissipation (around 20%). The units are used in conjunction with contactor as drivers, designed uniquely to reduce power/heat dissipation and therefore should never be used as DC-DC converters.
