Albright International HV500AF-170M 48VDC 'Magnetically Latched' solenoid contactor, intermittent.
- 48 Volts DC single-pole, single-throw (SPST) contactor with flying leads.
- These contactors are primarily for use with Direct Current (DC) or Alternating Current (AC) loads via the main stud terminals. The coils are switched with a Direct Current only.
- Intermittent coil with unpopulated PCB board fitted. I.E., no PWM circuit.
- Customers should have their own PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control.
- A Black Terminal Guard is fitted, protecting the main terminals from accidental contact.

About the Intermittent (Int.) HV500 Solenoids
Intermittent contactors, by design, are predominantly used for hydraulic functions on vehicles; they make and break quicker than continuous solenoids and are not recommended for prolonged contact periods.
Hermetic Sealing: The Albright HV range is fully hermetically sealed, allowing durability in extreme environments or when operating in potentially hazardous conditions.
Mounting is through a rotatable bracket which offers 6 angles for orientation. This allows for complete flexibility with the position of main contacts, allowing for customer ease of connection. Recommended panel mounting tightening torque is 2.5Nm to 3Nm.
Magnetic Latching: The contact position is secured with the use of a permanent magnet within the assembly. The coil requires a pulse to close the contacts and a reverse polarity pulse to operate the armature and open the contacts, but otherwise remains in the last energised state without the need for power. It should be noted therefore, these are not failsafe.
