Universal bulkhead mounted automotive windscreen washer pump with integral fixing bracket.

This pump MUST be fitted below the water level in the reservoir. It is NOT a lift pump, and it is NOT self-priming. To obtain the best results and a long and useful life, please pay attention to the following points:

DO's
1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the old pump, noting which is the positive and which is the negative wire.
2. Check the condition of the washer pump hoses and replace them if cracked.
3. Blow through the jets to ensure they are not blocked.
4. Mount the pump upright with the hose connections at the bottom, as shown in the diagram below.
5. The hose between the reservoir and the pump should be as short as possible.
6. Fill the reservoir before operating the pump.
7. Reconnect the electrical connections, ensuring the positive wire goes to the positive terminal and the negative wire goes to the negative terminal.
DO NOT's
1. Do not reverse the electrical connections.
2. Do not reverse the hose connections.
3. Do not fit the pump above the water level of the reservoir.
4. Do not - under any circumstances - run the pump dry.
