0-564-13 Durite 12V-24V Multi Frequency Night Silent Reverse Alarm

 Durite multi-frequency double engage night silent alarm - 97dB,87dB,0dB, 12/24V. Multi-frequency reversing alarm is used for warning and alerting road users and people around the vehicle. Minimising any potential or unwanted accidents on the road or at the workplace when the vehicle is reversing (Shi...shi...).

• Standard/day time 97 (±4dB); night time 87(±4dB) or 0dB.
• Engage reverse twice to activate the nighttime mode.
• Protected to IP68.
• Reduce noise complaints.
• E-Marked EMC R10.

Wiring

1. RED: Power Input (12/24V. Connect to Reverse (12/24V).
2. BLACK: Ground. Connect to chassis.
3. YELLOW. Please see the notes below for the operation.

Installation

 Select a mounting position on the vehicle which will allow your alarm to operate properly, even in adverse conditions

• Mount in a position which allows the unobstructed sound projection to the hazard area.
• Mount the alarm securely through the fixing holes provided. The hole centres are 75-85mm.
• The unit must not be fitted facing upwards or downwards.
• Protect from impact, flying objects and dirt.
• Keep away from high-temperature areas around the engine or exhaust.

Operation

• When the fitting of the unit is completed, connect the battery earth cable and test for operation.
• Test the unit regularly thereafter for proper function.
• Warning alarms are strictly meant as safety aids and are not a substitute for proper care and attention while manoeuvring a vehicle.
• For standard operation, 97dB engage reverse once.
• The night shift mode is activated by engaging the reverse gear twice in quick succession, please note that:
  1. If the YELLOW CABLE is not cut off, the sound will be reduced by 12 dB under night shift mode (default).
  2. If the YELLOW CABLE is cut off, the alarm will be quiet (0 dB) under night shift mode.
